Student Life Sessions
A major part of your Whittier experience will be how and where you spend time outside the classroom. These student life panels will give you direct access to current students, athletes, and departments who will share their tips for getting involved and making new friends.
Transfer Student Experience
Join this session to engage with a panel of faculty mentor transfer-advocates and current students who experienced their own transfer pathway to Whittier College. This Q&A will highlight the many campus resources available, dive into the kinds of advising offered, and discuss how to smoothly transition to life as a Poet.
Life as a Student Athlete
Coaches and current student-athletes will discuss our many athletic offerings and facilities. Learn more about how our scholar-athletes balance their roles and interests on and off the field and how Faculty play a large role in their success.
The First Year Experience
Led by a First-Year Writing Seminar professor, a Faculty Mentor, and both First and Second-Year students, we will dive into what you can expect and what you’ll need to succeed when you step onto campus. From orientation, advising, and campus resources to getting involved in and around the college, this is your crash course for your First-Year Experience.
Ways to Get Involved on Campus
Throughout your four years, you will be given the opportunity to get involved not only in the classroom but outside through co-curricular activities. Whittier has many clubs and organizations that will challenge and encourage you to get involved in the Poet community. Explore your current interests and discover some new ways to become active on campus.
