Request to Defer- 2021-22

You may defer your admission at Whittier College up to one year (two semesters) from which you were admitted.  If you wish to enroll  after that point, you must reapply to the College.  


NOTE: This is a request form. The Office of Admission will be in contact to confirm whether or not your request to defer has been approved. If approved, you will be required to pay your $400 enrollment deposit and submit any required final transcripts. Additionally, you may be required to pay a $400 confirmation deposit to secure your spot in the class of the term that you have deferred to (additional details regarding your confirmation deposit will be provided if your defer request is approved).
