Theatre Auditions

Prepare one monologue of 2 to 2½ minutes from a play. No film monologues. Avoid extreme characterizations--we want to see the person, not the mask. We provide rehearsal furniture. Costumes and elaborate properties are not appropriate, but feel free to bring simple hand props.

Be prepared to talk about yourself after the monologues. You are also invited to tour the facilities and speak with current Whittier students. If possible, please register for the earliest available time slot.

The Theatre Department cannot accommodate live auditions on alternate dates.
