Admission

Group Visit Reservation

A Group Visit to Whittier College is ideal for any high school counselor or teacher who would like to bring a group of students to tour campus.  A visit to our campus gives students a glimpse of the real Whittier College experience.

How to register for a visit

Please use the calendar below to select a date you would like to visit. Requests should be made at least two weeks in advance. You will receive an email 3-4 business days after your request is made either confirming or denying your tour.

If you require any disability accommodations for a member of your group, please use the "Additional Comments" box to describe said accommodation(s). We will do our best to make the tour as accessible as possible.

Visits Offered

Group tours are offered on a first-come, first-served basis and are available primarily on Wednesdays and Fridays. Groups should plan to be on campus for approximately 2 hours. Visits will include an information session from an Admission Counselor, and a 60-minute walking tour of our campus.

Policies

In the interest of maintaining the health and safety of our campus community and guests, we ask that you review the following information before requesting a tour for your group:
  • Due to the number of requests, we are only able to offer group tours to high school-age students. Middle and elementary school groups are more than welcome to use this request form, and we will forward your request to the Center for Engagement with Communities for scheduling.
  • Tour groups must be 50 students or fewer (not including chaperones).
  • The students will be split into two groups for their tour. Please plan to bring 2 chaperones per group (4 chaperones total).
  • Tours are by appointment only. Entrance to campus will not be allowed without a reservation.
  • All guests over the age of 2 are required to wear a well-fitting mask or cloth face covering while indoors. Masks may be removed during the outdoor portions of the tour.
  • Everyone attending the group tour will be required to complete a Health Screening Form prior to arrival.
  • Whittier College does not provide food or meals for group tours.
  • Due to time restrictions, we may not be able to accommodate groups who arrive more than 30 minutes after their scheduled tour time.
If you have any questions, please email our Campus Visit Coordinator, Kiya Bodendorf, at vprogram@whittier.edu.
